NEXT SEASON IS COMING...

The next school year is about to begin in the Johnson household. That means back to school shopping has begun, teacher welcome letters are being delivered, and my kids are groaning at the thought of the end of summer break. Honestly, I don't blame them for groaning. Who can relate to not wanting a good thing to end? I certainly can!

At our house we like to mark the end of one season and the beginning of another with a celebration activity. Reflecting back, being a new parent I didn't always know what was needed so I would get everything, make a lot of work for myself, and end up with leftover mess. Often when we are not sure of something we can find ourselves overdoing it. Have you ever found you were working too hard? Don't worry - it's completely natural when you are doing something new.

The challenge comes when you get stuck in that state. Can you imagine what life would be like if you continued to apply the blanket approach? How much left over mess would you constantly be dealing with? How does all that baggage get in the way of you reaching your goals?

If you are reading this and it's hitting home let's talk.
